Our Mission

Being a light on campus

College is one of the most pivotal times in someone's faith. As students go out into the world for the first time, it is common to see a decline in God as a priority. The Rolla Baptist Student Union's mission is to provide a place of growth for student's faith in this important time and give students a place to cultivate Christ-centered relationships.

Our Events

In order to succeed in the mission of the BSU, events are hosted every week.

Cross

Worship

Tuesday Nights Together (TNT) is our main worship service held every Tuesday during the semester at 7pm.

TNT consists of student-led worship and local pastors/speakers delivering a message.

Fellowship

Fellowship

Every week, students come together for fellowship events. These events are essential in cultivating friendships that will last a lifetime.

Some examples include:

Thursdays at 6pm - Game Nights

Fridays at 7pm - Movie Nights

Missions Globe

Missions

Along with our weekly events, mission trips are held several times through the semester. These include local, domestic, and international trips.

Our students are also involved with the Missouri Baptist Convention Disaster Relief.

Our Campus Minister

Bruce Wade, Campus Minister
"I’ve been in ministry for a long time. This is where I’m meant to be. The men and women—the students of the BSU are amazing. They challenge me. They impress me. They are seeking. They are seeking an education (some are seeking a degree). They are seeking God and how to serve Him. What a privilege to serve alongside them as they make their relationship with the living Jesus so very personal. I love welcoming new students joining us here. Come serve with us here."

Bruce Wade, Campus Missionary

Our Team

Along with Bruce, the BSU is run by a team of student servant leaders. The Servant Leadership Team aides in planning events, organizing activities, running worship, and engaging with the community.
